Introducing... Kieron Wilkinson - BTE Plant Sales

Our Employee Spotlight is on Kieron Wilkinson!

At the beginning of every month we are getting together with a member of #teamBTE and celebrating them! We have a very dedicated and hard working team that ensure all our customers are looked after as best as possible. Whether in sales or service, or at our Head Office or other depots; every team member is important to us.

Kez has been working out of our Leeds depot for over 5 years. He started as an Apprentice Fitter in 2017 and is now an NVQ Level 3 Engineer. Kez is a very hard working lad and has done fantastic to get to where he is now! Always eager to learn and a great laugh, he is a great asset to the BTE team!

We had a sit down with Kez, and here is what we found out…

What is your job title?

Workshop engineer

Briefly describe your job role

I complete job cards given to me such as fitting hitches, beacons, radios, vandal guards and machine servicing

What are your top 3 likes?

Sports mainly football & darts (Leeds fan)

And what are your dislikes?

Bees & Wasps, Red hot weather (I sit inside or in the shade on holiday)

If you had to choose your top 3 TV series, what would they be?

Seal team, S.W.A.T, Good Doctor

What is your favourite biscuit?

Got to be chocolate hobnob with a pot of Yorkshire tea!

What are the values that drive you?

Loyalty, compassion, quality-orientation

What do you like about working at BTE?

It’s a great company to work for, always helped and looked after me, the people I have met at different depots have all treated me with respect and I can honestly say I enjoy working here

What would you improve at BTE?

Maybe have competitions to win rewards

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Spending time with family, and walks with the dog Ralph (cocker spaniel)
