When it comes to light compaction, BOMAG has raised the bar with their all-new BP Series – launching June 2025. As a trusted BOMAG dealer, BTE Plant Sales is excited to bring this next-generation range of forward plate compactors to our customers across the UK.

What’s New?

BOMAG has redesigned their compaction plates from the ground up. They are more efficient, more user-friendly, and more adaptable in the field.

As well as new models, the key upgrades include:

  1. Low Hand-Arm Vibration (HAV)

Every model in the BP Series delivers low HAV levels – all below 5 m/s², with some as low as 2.5 m/s². This significantly reduces operator fatigue and helps you stay compliant with health and safety standards on site.

  1. Modern, Robust Design

These machines are built tougher than ever. With a streamlined and durable frame, plus foldable handles and smart accessory fittings, they're ideal for the rigours of everyday site use.

  1. Plug & Play Accessories

BOMAG’s “best kits in class” approach means you can customise your plate compactor to suit any task. Water kits, spray bars, transport wheels, hour meters, Vulcolan mats – all available as easy-to-install field kits.

  1. Compact and Easy to Transport

From the smallest 51kg BP 10/30 plate to the powerful 125kg BP 25/50 D, the new design prioritises portability. Whether you're moving them around a large site or hiring them out, transport is a breeze.
