Kubota Partners with Liebherr to Introduce New Wheeled Excavators
Kubota Corporation has announced a strategic partnership with Liebherr-International AG to introduce 9 ton and 11 ton class wheeled hydraulic excavators to the European market. These new models will debut at Bauma 2025, the world's leading show for the construction and mining industries, on April 7th in Munich, Germany.
Addressing the UK's Construction Needs
The UK construction sector, and across Europe, is experiencing a surge in projects, driven by population growth, infrastructure investments, and urban development. This increase, alongside labour shortages, have heightened the demand for efficient and versatile construction machinery. Kubota, renowned for its compact construction equipment, is expanding its offerings to meet these evolving needs and partnering with a renowned brand such as Liehberr is an exciting step forward.
Enhanced Product Line-up
These wheeled excavators, weighing between 9,700 kg and 12,800 kg, will be powered by Kubota's V3800 Stage V engines, available in 55kW or 80kW configurations. Designed for civil engineering and road construction in urban areas, these machines promise to deliver the performance and reliability that UK contractors expect from Kubota.
