Kubota has officially produced its one millionth excavator, marking more than 50 years of innovation, engineering and growth in the compact construction equipment industry.

Reaching one million excavators is a significant moment in that history, and one that gave BTE the opportunity to be part of something particularly special.
To mark the production of its one millionth excavator, Kubota created a special commemorative machine finished in a distinctive black livery. BTE Plant Sales was proud to receive and hand over this unique piece of Kubota history.
The machine was recently delivered to BTE customer Green Power Plant Hire.
A milestone that means something to BTE

More than 50 years of Kubota excavators
Kubota’s journey in compact excavators stretches back more than half a century.
It began in 1974 with the KH1, Kubota’s first mini excavator. By 1979, the range had expanded with the KH4 and KH7, the same year Kubota excavators were introduced into Europe.
The KX Series followed in 1988, bringing further developments in hydraulic performance, durability and operator comfort.
Then, in 1999, Kubota introduced the U Series, pioneering zero-tail swing technology designed to give operators greater manoeuvrability when working in confined spaces.
By 2002, Kubota had manufactured its 100,000th excavator.
Today, that figure has increased tenfold.
More than one million Kubota excavators have now been produced worldwide.
Kubota remains the number-one brand for excavators up to 8 tonnes in Europe, with its machines earning a reputation for reliability, performance, durability and strong residual values.
